 Inhambane
Inhambane is bordered to the North by the Provinces of Manica and Sofala, to the South and East by the Indian Ocean, and to the West by the Province of Gaza, and is considered as perhaps one of the best quality tourist regions in Mozambique.

Apart from the excellent beaches stretching all along the coast, and the famous tourist destination the Archipelago of Bazaruto, the interior holds natural parks where various species of wildlife can be observed.

In the city of Inhambane, capital of the Province, the visitor can visit the local museum and monuments and places that are testimony to the presence of the people that have passed through this land.

The towns of Maxixe, Quissico and Vilankulo are other urban centres of interest to visit, to shop and admire the natural beauty of the surroundings.

The main ethnic groups are the Matshwa, Bitonga and Chopi.
