Located in the interior of the Center of the Country, it has as boundaries to the North the Province of Tete, to the South the Provinces of Inhambane and Gaza, to the East the Province of Sofala, and to West Zimbabwe.
The Province of Manica is located in one of the highest areas of Mozambique, where many of the rivers flow eastward towards the Indian Ocean.
In its mountains are born waters of high purity, being those of the mountain range of the Vumba already commercialized, with distribution and excellent acceptance in almost all the Country.
The capital is Chimoio, the important economic center of the Province.
Vila Manica, a city that lives on the frontier trade, is the second urban center of the region.
The most representative ethnic groups are the Shona, the Seine, and the Ndau.
